We’re looking for a hungry, passionate, and savvy “Business Development & Strategy Manager” to join our vibrant team and lead our Business Development initiatives around the world. You’re a natural deal-maker, have a vast network, and are a hands-on doer with a strong sense of ownership. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful partnerships.
As the “Business Development & Strategy Manager” , you’ll carry the tall order of expanding our market share, generating new business, and blazing a global trail for Cloud Collective and our brands, in line with our strategy and business plan.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Define and deliver on a growth strategy for priority regions in line with our global strategy
Actively pursue and close new business opportunities
Conceptualise new capital raising structures for projects and lead efforts to close funding for the
projects
Be responsible for and actively manage the deal pipeline through identifying growth opportunities in
different markets, analysing and understanding how to optimise the funnel, and executing against an
aligned strategy
Own sales enablement including building sales collateral (pitch decks, one-pagers) tailored to customer
segments. Assist in all aspects of preparing proposals, presentations, offering materials and
miscellaneous reports
Be responsible for and execute Concept and Feasibility studies pertaining to specific projects
In collaboration with senior team members, build financial models to evaluate the cash flow and
investment returns potential of evaluated development and management opportunities
Conduct comprehensive market research, analysis, and competitive analysis to identify new trends and
opportunities as well as inform business strategy and decision-making
Manage our Development Partners in all regions, helping to coordinate deal cycle management and
driving leads
Evangelise and expand our brand and presence in global markets through developing a vast network and
proactively attending and seeking speaking engagement opportunities
Develop strong partnerships with strategic ecosystem partners and create commercial opportunities to
grow the business
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
7-10 years of experience in business development in Hospitality and/ or Real Estate Development
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and new business development
Proven track record of deal structuring, fundraising, and financial modelling]
Ability to conduct in-depth market research studies, analysis, and executing concept and feasibility
studies / highest and best use case/ development strategies among others end-to-end
Superb at building competitive advantages; you know how to win deals by understanding customer
needs and pain points and how to value-sell
You have deep experience managing and optimising the pipeline for optimum value
Strong ability to use data analysis to inform sales strategy and make business decisions
You are a natural negotiator with an ability to orchestrate win-win scenarios and handle prospect/
customer objections with confidence, poise, diplomacy
You possess a growth mindset and are constantly looking for ways to improve
Proactive with strong sense of ownership; you have an unrivalled work ethic and you’re willing to do
whatever it takes to achieve your goals
You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and cross-functional environments and know how to navigate
ambiguity or change course as business requirements dictate
You are able to interact confidently with a wide range of people, adapting easily to different cultures &
personalities
